Printers Ink Mixing Scale
The HRB XG 3102 is a perfect ink mixing scale. 3,000 grams by 0.01 gives you the ability to add inks, essentially walking up to the gram amounts you need to the tenth... You can go from 9.97 to 9.98 to 9.99 to 10 and never miss a pantone match.
All you need is a pantone book, or some internal record of ink mixing formulas. Add a pane of opaque glass, or mixing board, and use the tare button to add inks required. (the total allowable weight of all inks, tared or not, and mixing board is 3,000g / roughly 6 pounds)
This is the scale we recommend for all printing operations, small batch paint mixing, etc.
